We add lifesize (whole body) classes to the class calendar by request. Please email with some class dates that would work for you to coordinate getting a class date on the calendar.

Class Overview:

We offer hands-on lessons for mounting your own lifesize (full-body) taxidermy mount, including raccoon, fox, or coyote. After signing up, students can email us to coordinate a time and date for the class.

Each lesson includes all necessary materials, such as:

  • Professionally tanned skin

  • Anatomically correct foam mannequin

  • Glass eyes, ear liners, and other mounting supplies

At the end of the class, students will leave with their own finished taxidermy mount, ready to display.

Class Details:

  • Duration: Classes typically last up to 6 hours.

  • Photography Policy: No photography, video, or audio recording is allowed during the class. However, you are welcome to take photos of your finished work and the studio space once the class has concluded.

  • Rescheduling Policy: If you need to reschedule, a $50 fee applies if done 48 hours or more before the class start time. For more details, see the Reschedule a Class option on our Class Sign-Up page. No exceptions.

  • Class Requirements: Students aged 13 and up are welcome. Anyone under 18 must be dropped off by a parent or guardian. All participants must work on their own project—no seat sharing or splitting of pieces. Only students are allowed in the studio during classes.

Additional Information:

  • No Experience Required: No prior experience is necessary. This class is open to beginners, but we recommend taking our Small Mammal class first as a precursor.
