All materials, including a skinned European Starling, a mannequin form, glass bird eyes, wood perch, etc., will be provided for each student to mount their own taxidermy starling learning the step by step process hands-on. Each student will leave class with their own completed taxidermy starling attached to black wood perch (or driftwood, if preferred). This is an introductory closed-wing bird class great for beginners and all levels of experience. Students will learn how to create their own mannequin and neck armature, attached wired legs, prepare the skull, eye placement, sewing, positioning, preening, and mounting to a perch.
