Mouse/Small Rat Taxidermy Class

In this beginner's class in mouse taxidermy, students will learn to the taxidermy processes of skinning and mounting either a large mouse or small rat (specimen, size, and color depending on availability). All specimens are ethically sourced and each participant will receive a mouse to work on and complete. Class includes the lesson, specimen, and all supplies, including a complete hand-cast polyurethane foam mannequin form handmade by the instructor prior to class. Students will be able to pose the arms and legs of their mouse to their liking. Students are encouraged to bring miniature props to decorate and a select amount of props will also be provided free of charge by the instructor. Class cost is $150. No refunds can be given to students who miss or cancel a class.

Please note: no prior taxidermy experience is required. No harsh or dangerous chemicals will be used and all animals are disease-free and deceased. No specimens are killed for the sake of taxidermy. Any questions feel free to email us via the contact page.
